A few hours ago, as per reports, Cardi B is now leading the nominations for the 2026 BET Awards with six nods.The “Am I the Drama?” artist is closely followed by Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist.Other artists include, Teyana Taylor, Olivia Dean, Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, and Latto, with four nods each.While Jill Scott, Kehlani, Metro Boomin, A$AP Rocky, Bruno Mars, Bryson Tiller, Chris Brown, SZA, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, T.I. and YK Niece are also in the list with three nods each.As per reports, EVP, specials, music programming & music strategy at BET, Connie Orlando issued a statement that read as, “All of our nominees represent the very best of Black culture across music, film, sports, and beyond, and with the introduction of the Fashion Vanguard Award and the Pulse Award…”Connie Orlando added, “We’re proud to honor even more of the ways our culture continues to show up and evolve…”However, neither Cardi B nor her team has officially reacted to the news even though it has sparked chaos among millions of fans across the world.
