The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad conducted the UP Board Class 10 Mathematics examination 2026 today from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. According to initial reactions from students and teachers, the paper was moderate in difficulty level, with Section A described as easy.Most questions were based on the prescribed syllabus. Students said the paper followed the pattern shared in model papers and classroom practice.The Mathematics paper was divided into multiple sections. Section A was reported to be easy. Students said these questions were direct and formula-based.Sections carrying short and long answer questions required stepwise solutions. Some questions needed careful calculation, but they were within the syllabus. One student told TOI that the “paper was good and could be solved easily if the questions were read carefully”. According to the student, those who revised formulas and practised regularly would find the paper manageable.Teachers at several examination centres described the paper as moderate. They said that while Section A was easy, a few questions in the later sections required conceptual clarity. However, there were no unexpected questions.UP Board officials stated that more than 35 lakh students have registered for the 2026 board examinations, which are being conducted across around 15,000 examination centres in the state.In total, 52,30,297 candidates have registered for the 2026 board exams. Among them, 27,50,945 students are from Class 10, including 14,38,682 boys and 13,12,263 girls.The board will conduct the Class 12 Physics examination from 2 pm to 5:15 pm today.
