Hyderabad: US-based global data science and AI solutions provider Tredence on Friday opened its new 20,000 sq ft delivery and innovation centre in Hyderabad, marking a major expansion of its enterprise AI operations and reinforcing Telangana’s push to become a leading technology and life sciences hub. Tredence currently employs more than 400 people in Telangana and plans to add 700 employees in 2026 and another 1,100 in 2027, taking its total workforce in the state to more than 2,200. The new facility will serve as a key base for Tredence’s global AI delivery across retail, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, and life sciences. The company said the centre will work closely with its international teams and support growing demand for AI-led services from global enterprises. Telangana life sciences Director and CEO Shakthi M Nagappan, who inaugurated the facility, said the investment highlights Hyderabad’s rising status as a centre for data, AI, and global capability centres. Tredence Co-Founder and CRO Shashank Dubey said Hyderabad offered the talent and execution strength needed to support the company’s global delivery ambitions, which is why it chose to set up here. Centre Head Abhijay Datta said teams in Hyderabad already contributed to life sciences projects, including drug discovery and operational improvements, and will now expand advanced analytics and AI innovation across sectors.
