For the unversed, Trent McDuffie is the highest paid cornerback in the history of NFL after the Los Angeles Rams signed him to a record four year, $124 million extension on Sunday.While Rashee Rice did not add any words to the post, it seems a controversial post considering his situation with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Though the team has stayed away from making any statements about Rashee Rice’s future, NFL insiders have hinted that he might be “suspended for more than 6 games”.A few days ago, at the NFL Combine, popular NFL insider Dan Graziano spoke about the Rashee Rice’s situation with the Kansas City Chiefs as he said, “If you’re the Chiefs, it’s very difficult to talk about these things. You never want to say, obviously, the wrong thing and be disrespectful…”The popular NFL insider added, “So now, if you’re the Chiefs, it’s not about a value judgment on how he behaves off the field. It’s more about, is this guy going to be consistently available to us? And if he’s not, how do we commit money to that?”Similarly, NFL insider Nate Taylor has predicted that Rashee Rice’s next suspension could last between “10 to 12 games”, considering this is the second high profile controversy he is involved in, after his multi vehicular crash in 2024 which resulted in being suspended in 6 games.However, neither Rashee Rice nor the Kansas City Chiefs has confirmed any speculations yet.For now, Rashee Rice seems to be focused on fighting the civil lawsuit filed by his ex girlfriend, Dacoda Jones, where she sued him for a whopping $1 million.Though Rashee Rice has denied all charges against him, the domestic violence accusations have sparked outrage.
