The Intelligence Bureau has released the IB Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) result 2026 today, April 13, 2026, according to the official website. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check and download the list of shortlisted candidates for the Tier 2 exam from the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs at mha.gov.in.The IB MTS 2026 examination was conducted on January 27, 2026, to fill 362 vacancies. The result has been released in PDF format, which includes the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process.

IB MTS result 2026: Selection process
The selection process for IB MTS 2026 includes Tier 1 written examination, Tier 2 examination and an Interview stage.Candidates who have qualified in the written examination will now move to the Tier 2 stage.
Result preparation and marking scheme
The written exam consisted of objective-type multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer carries one mark, while one-fourth mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.The result has been prepared based on the final answer key after reviewing objections raised by candidates.Candidates who meet the cut-off marks have been shortlisted for the next stage.
Next stage: Document verification and Tier 2 exaM
Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Candidates must carry their Date of birth proof, Educational certificates, Domicile certificate, Caste certificate (if applicable), Disability certificate (if applicable), Other relevant documents, and prepare for the Tier 2 exam.Candidates who fail to produce valid documents may be disqualified from the recruitment process.Applicants are advised to regularly check the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs for any further updates regarding the Tier 2 examination.
