Rashid Khan added another major milestone to his glittering IPL career after moving into the top 10 wicket-takers in tournament history during Gujarat Titans’ emphatic win over Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.The Afghan spinner delivered a match-winning performance, finishing with superb figures of 4/33 in his four overs as GT crushed RR by 77 runs. Rashid’s spell not only earned him the Player of the Match award but also helped him surpass legendary Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga on the all-time IPL wickets list. Rashid now has 173 wickets in 147 IPL matches at an impressive average of 23.72, including three four-wicket hauls and best figures of 4/24. GT outclassed RR
The Titans produced a complete all-round performance to register a commanding 77-run victory on May 9, 2026. Batting first, GT posted a massive 229/4 in 20 overs, their highest total of the season.Captain Shubman Gill led from the front with a brilliant 84 off 44 balls, while Sai Sudharsan contributed 55 as the pair stitched together a dominant 118-run opening stand.
