When the cricket fraternity gets together for a wedding, you know it’s going to be quite a scene. And that’s exactly what happened in Mumbai on March 5, when Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok tied the knot. The guest list read like a mini reunion of Indian cricket – familiar faces, old teammates, plenty of smiles. But somewhere in the middle of all that buzz, MS Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni quietly became one of the most stylish couples in the room. They didn’t arrive with a big announcement. No dramatic moment. Yet the minute they stepped in together, heads turned.Dhoni kept things simple, just the way people have come to expect from him. The former India captain wore a soft beige-blush silk kurta that looked elegant without being flashy. The kurta had neat Resham and Zardosi embroidery running along the front and the cuffs. Nothing loud, just tasteful work that gave the outfit character.Look a bit closer and you could see the finer touches. Small floral and paisley motifs stitched in gentle shades of green, red and gold. The silk itself had a faint striped texture that caught the light every now and then. He paired it with crisp white churidar trousers, keeping the whole look clean and relaxed. Very Dhoni – calm, classic and effortless. And then your eyes naturally moved to Sakshi.Standing beside him, she picked a look that matched the soft mood perfectly. Sakshi wore a custom ivory floral kurta set by Heena Kochhar, reportedly priced at ₹1,17,000. The outfit had a flowing anarkali-style feel and delicate floral work that gave it a traditional touch without making it look heavy. Her dupatta was light and sheer with a thin gold border that added just the right hint of shine. She layered gold jewellery in an easy way – festive but not overdone.

Sakshi also carried the Ozel Suhani Pearl Potli from Bespoke Ozels, which is said to cost around ₹16,390. The pearl details added a lovely sparkle to the whole look. On her feet were Fizzy Goblet’s Superstar Glow mule heels, priced at ₹5,990, bringing a slightly modern edge to the otherwise classic outfit.Together, the Dhonis looked perfectly in sync. Their outfits weren’t identical, but the colours and textures worked so well together that the twinning felt completely natural. The wedding itself turned into a proper cricket get-together. Zaheer Khan was there with Sagarika Ghatge. Harbhajan Singh arrived with Geeta Basra. Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech were spotted chatting with friends, while Irfan Pathan came with his wife Safa Baig. Suresh Raina and Anil Kumble were also among the guests.A few familiar senior faces showed up too. Ravi Shastri attended the celebrations, and Ajit Agarkar came with his wife Fatima Ghadially. With so many big names under one roof, the evening felt less like a formal wedding and more like the cricket family catching up.Still, amid all the stylish appearances, Dhoni and Sakshi stood out in the nicest way possible.Nothing over the top. Nothing that felt forced.Just a couple walking in together, dressed well, looking comfortable and completely at ease with each other. And honestly, that kind of effortless style is what people remember the most.
