The Rajinikanth starrer has been ahead of ‘War 2’ in terms of box office collections from day one of the release. The Tamil superstar has a massive fan following, and their love for him has been reflected at the ticket windows. According to Sacnilk, as of now on day 8 (today), the film has collected Rs 1.64 crore at the box office.
With that, the total collection of ‘Coolie’ is now Rs 224.23 crore.The massive star power, along with Anirudh Ravichander’s music and Lokesh Kanagaraj‘s history of making good movies, can be considered as reasons for the film staying ahead of ‘War 2’ at the box office.
